SHAWINIGAN, Q.C. – Shawinigan won last night’s tie-breaker 6-1 over Edmonton.

Now Saint John will have to beat the Cataractes for the second time in the tournament to advance to Sunday’s final.

The Sea Dogs won the round-robin game 4-1 on Wednesday.

Saint John forward Stephen MacAulay

says it’s fitting that the two teams will meet one last time.

“It’s going to be a battle out there, you know, as it’s the last game. We play a great solid game and if we bring that game with the same intensity and effort, I think we’ll have a great result.”

We have the Dogs and the Cataractes right here on News 88.9 starting at 7:45pm.
