MONCTON, N.B. – New Brunswick’s largest cities need to stop competing for the same infrastructure and work together for the good of the region.

That was a key message from businessman David Ganong Tuesday morning to a Moncton business audience.

He says tough decisions need to be made if the province is to move forward.

‘We need to take a look broadly at the options and look at the big ideas to try and drive us forward.  I don’t think we’re going to get to where we need to go through incremental change.”

Some of the ‘big ideas’ being put forward by Ganong include reducing duplicate services and red tape.

He also says Moncton should be the province’s only international airport.
