SAINT JOHN, N.B.- The Carnival Glory will kick off the cruise ship season this morning in the Port City.
It’s the first call of the 2012 season, which will see the Disney Magic make it’s first call ever on the port next week.
Port of Saint John President Jim Quinn is very excited about the possibilities of the season as it’s going to be a busy one. “It will end on October 29th with the Brilliance of the Sea”, says Quinn. “We’re going to have 73 cruise ships call the port this year. That’s about 187-thousand people”.
The 2012 season will also see the opening of the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Ship Terminal in September.
