ROTHESAY, N.B.- A retired police officer will carry the Liberal banner in the Rothesay by-election.
John Wilcox won last night’s nominating convention, defeating businessman and youth advocate Bill Gulliver.
Wilcox will compete against Conservative Ted Flemming, and provincial NDP Leader Dominic Cardy in the June 25th vote.
The deadline for nominations is this Friday, June 8th.
