SAINT JOHN, N.B. – A case manager will be added to the Saint John Teen Resource Centre staff over the next year, thanks to the federal government.

Saint John MP Rodney Weston announced $30,000 in funding for the centre this morning, to help break the poverty cycle in the city.

TRC Executive Director June Breau-Nason says dealing with youth issues isn’t easy.

“The youth aren’t going away. Their issues are getting more complex. So we need to have the right people helping the youth find the right services in our community.”

She believes having a case manager at the TRC will make a big difference to those who use the centre.
