ROTHESAY, N.B.- The Green Party candidate in the Rothesay byelection says the riding has not been well represented in the past.
Sharon Murphy of the Conservation Council of New Brunswick is among five people vying for the vacant seat in the legislature.
Murphy says the party doesn’t have an official leader but that doesn’t mean it is lacking in leadership. “We actually developed all our policy from the grassroots”, says Murphy. “We meet often and we work very hard to make sure that the Green Party of New Brunswick reflects reality on the ground and what is needed for New Brunswick”.
Meantime voter information cards are being sent to about nine thousand eligible voters this week leading into the June 25th election.
