SAINT JOHN, N.B.- One of the last items on the agenda of the New Brunswick legislature before ending the current sitting was to repeal the city of Saint John Pension Act.
City councillor Donnie Snook believes that’s good news for the city.
Snook says with pension reform he hopes some recently cut programs may benefit. “As we achieve pension reform, that money will become available because the pension payment will not be what we once forecast it to be”, says Snook.
