(Saint John)-For the second time in two weeks, the provincial NDP leader is getting some high-profile federal help in his bid for an open seat in Rothesay.
Dominic Cardy was joined on the campaign by Toronto MP Olivia Chow, the widow of late NDP leader Jack Layton.
Speaking in studio on The Todd Veinotte Show today, Chow says the Federal tory budget is being unfair to seniors.
” telling seniors they can’t get their old age security until they turn 67 thats not fair because people expect to retire at 65″
The man who replaced Layton as federal leader, Tom Mulcair, was in the Rothesay riding with Cardy last week.
