SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Due to an earlier water main break near the intersection of Sandy Point Road and Thornborough Street a boil water order is being issued to residents in the area.
That includes people in on Sandy Point Road between Hawthorne Avenue and MacLaren Boulevard, Thornborough Street, Jack Street, Kelly Lane, Anglin Drive, Kiwanis Court, Corkery Street and Cranston Avenue, between Sixth Street and Thornborough Street
The Department of Health warns the micro-organisms, that may be in the water, may make you sick and are a particular concern for people with weakened immune systems.
The boil order is expected to last at least until early next week.
