MONCTON, NB – A slight dip in New Brunswick home sales last month.

According to MLS figures from  the provincial real estate association more than 700 homes changed hands in the province last month, down about three tenths of a per cent when compared to last year.

Sales were up 19 per cent in Northern New Brunswick and 4 per cent in Saint John.

Moncton home sales were down about 6 per cent when compared to June of last year.

The price for homes was up about 6 per cent from last year, with the average home selling for about 170-thousand-600 dollars.
