OROMOCTO – A Lincoln man is facing a hefty fine for possession of illegal cigarettes.

Harold Ronald Davidson, 58, pleaded guilty last Monday in Burton Provincial Court to three charges.

He was fined more than $17,000.

He was arrested May 7th following an eight-month probe by Oromocto RCMP.

Police seized 24,000 illegal smokes and some cash.
