SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Three young males are safe after a water rescue by the Saint John Fire Department.
Platoon Chief Joe Armstrong says firefighters responded to the Kennebecasis river last night after receiving a report of a boat was taking on water.
The fire department’s rescue boat found the boat, near the Kennebecasis Island Ferry, with mechanical issues.
Saint John firefighters also responded to an ATV accident yesterday.
The incident took place on 3115 Golden Grove Road.
One male was sent to hospital with a broken leg and compound fractures.
