FREDERICTON – The New Brunswick government released a 10-year framework Wednesday that it says serves as the foundation of a health-care system that will better meet the needs of communities in the province.
The Executive Director of the NB Pharmacists Association Paul Blanchard says he is glad to hear the government is going to look at various needs in the communities.
“We also know, though, that in the short term, they’re taking a step-wise approach,” Blanchard says. “They’re really going to go to the communities…and see what are the needs.”
Blanchard says the government will also get feedback from patients on how health care is delivered in New Brunswick.
