SAINT JOHN, N.B.- Another top position with the City of Saint John will soon be vacant
The Commissioner of Planning and Development is leaving the job he has held for four years to take on a similar role with the city of Fredericton.
Ken Forrest says his time working for the city of Saint John has been a great experience
He says he hopes the city will continue to move forward with it’s new municipal plan. “This has been an absolutely fantastic experience”, says Forrest. ” I was brought in kind of under orders to deliver a new municipal plan for the city and I guess from my perspective that job has been done. Really now the challenge in the community is to take that plan and operationalize it and make it happen”.
Forrest has been the city’s top planner since 2008 and helped oversee PlanSJ.
