SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Not even a day after a church on Church Avenue was gutted by fire another major blaze claimed a home in east Saint John.
The Saint John Fire Department was called the home at 2720 Golden Grove Road around 3:30AM Saturday.
Acting Platoon Chief Brian Wilson says the house was fully engulfed when they arrived keeping fire crews on scene for four hours.
No one home at the time of the blaze.
The Saint John fire Department and city police and investigating the fire.
The cause has yet to be determined.
