SAINT JOHN – There won’t be any construction relief this weekend for Saint Johners travelling on the west side.

The city says it’s finalizing patchwork and repairs to Chesley Drive, in preparation for paving the roadway beginning tomorrow.

The section between Hilyard Street and Main Street is scheduled to be paved on Saturday, and traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions while the work is done.

More paving on the remainder of Chesley Drive and Bridge Road is scheduled for next week.
