BELLEISLE CREEK, N.B. – District 3 RCMP are investigating a fatal collision, involving a pedestrian, on East Scotch Settlement Road in Belleisle Creek.
Shortly before 9 last night, RCMP arrived after a report of a 32-year-old woman from Belleisle Creek being struck.
She was travelling with her family when their RV ran out of gas. The victim was standing next to their vehicle, which was parked across the road from the RV, when she was struck by a car that passed between their vehicle and the RV.
She died at the scene as a result of her injuries.
An RCMP reconstructionist was on the scene investigating the collision.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending notification of her family.
