SUSSEX, N.B.- A crisis response team is in place at Sussex High School follow the death of one of it’s students in a head-on collision this week.
RCMP have identified the victim as 14 year old Blake Alexander Sherwood of Apohaqui.
Sherwood died after his dirt bike collided with a pick-up truck Wednesday on Route 121 in Apohaqui.
Police are still investigating the cause of the mishap but alcohol has been ruled out. Sherwood’s bike was also not licensed for the road.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday afternoon at St. Paul’s United Church in Sussex.
