SAINT JOHN, N.B.- The Saint John Airport has been awarded the highest ranking of all New Brunswick airports.

The ranking comes in the latest Agent’s Travel Awards published by the Canadian Travel Press

The airport is second only to Halifax’s Stanfield International in Atlantic Canada.

Saint John Airport CEO Bernie LeBlanc says news of the ranking came as a bit of a surprise.  “It’s nice to be recognized by travel agents, who are great customers of airports, as a good airport to fly in and out of”, says LeBlanc. “What they’ve said is they’ve ranked Saint John Airport quite high in their survey so that’s something that was a surprise to use but great to hear”.

The 2012 results placed the Saint John Airport 13th best in the country
