SAINT JOHN, N.B.- Saint John fire crews have been called to deal with a blaze in the same house for the second time in just over a month.

Crews were called to 158 Winslow Street on the west side Saturday afternoon shortly after 2:30.

Saint John Fire Department Platoon Chief Joe Armstrong says the building was vacant at the time. “Crews arrived on scene to find a two story wood building with smoke and fire showing at the rear section on the first and second story of that building”, says Armstrong.

No injuries were reported and the Saint John Police Major Crime Unit has been called in to investigate.

The same building was extensively damaged by fire in late August with barking dogs alerting residents to the blaze at the time.
