SAINT JOHN, N.B.- Saint John Police got more than they bargained for when responding to an accident early Saturday evening east of the city.
No one was injured but two men are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking after police uncovered about one hundred marijuana plants when responding to the accident.
The pot was covered by a tarp in the back of the truck.
Police say it was raining at the time and the driver appeared to lose control of his vehicle at the corner of Barnesville Road and St. Martins Road.
One of the men was from Saint John and the other from Quebec.
