SAINT JOHN, N.B.- More than 14-hundred participants took part in the Saint John version of the 2012 Run For The Cure on Sunday.
This year’s local event at Harbour Station raised almost 176-thousand dollars for breast cancer research, education, and advocacy.
Across Canada more than 170-thousand people took part raising more than 30-million dollars.
It’s estimated more than 23-thousand Canadians will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
