MONTREAL – RCMP and Quebec Provincial Police say they have found some of the more than 20-million dollars in stolen maple syrup in northern New Brunswick.

The Montreal Gazette says the syrup swiped from a Quebec warehouse in August has turned up at the S.K. Export processing facility in Kedgwick.

Police have not said how much of the syrup was found, but describe the find as an “important” amount.

The syrup has been shipped back to Quebec.
