MONCTON, N.B. – A bus company out of PEI has been granted a license to offer inter-provincial bus service into New Brunswick.

The owner of Trius Tours went before the Energy and Utilities Board on Wednesday in PEI and was given the green light.

Before the service goes ahead, routes and rates will need to be be reviewed first.

A public hearing to be held on October 31st or November 1st in Saint John.

Trius Tours is hoping to help replace bus service that is being lost when Acadian Lines stops service at the end of November.
