SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Police are releasing more details following an incident this morning on the Saint John Throughway that led to an accident involving several vehicles.

Police say a man’s death was the main factor in the incident that resulted in the closure of the west bound lanes on Highway 1 near the Crown Street overpass.

It’s believed the man fell from the overpass.

The Major Crime Unit is investigating but foul play is not suspected.
