SAINT JOHN – After major cuts to Saint John Transit during the last city budget, the new Common Council is going to take another look at how they might be able to get service restored.
Councillor Donnie Snook says the city is not providing the right level of transit service to the public.
“(It’s) critical on a go-forward basis that we are able to address the transit situation that this city finds itself in,” Snook says.
Snook says he understands that some people felt the city went too big in building the new transit facility on the east side of Saint John.
