SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Police say All Hallows Eve in Greater Saint John was a relatively quiet affair with no major incidents to report.
Most neighbourhoods saw fewer trick-or-treaters as a result of the wet weather with on and off showers reported in most areas throughout the evening.
Meanwhile Environment Canada has released precipitation totals from Tuesday night and Wednesday as the remnants of Superstorm Sandy made its way through the area.
Saint John topped the province with 78 millimetres of rain with St. Stephen close behind at 76.5. Fredericton received 56.8 millimetres and Moncton measured in at 46 millimetres.
