SAINT JOHN – A man charged in last weekend’s alleged home invasion on the west side has pleaded not guilty to several charges.
Brandon Saia, 21, was arrested last night and appeared in court today, charged with forcible entry, being masked while committing an indictable offence, and robbery.
Police were called to a home at 341 Prince Street West early Saturday morning.
Two men aged 18 and 21 were suffering from stab wounds and were taken to hospital.
The 18-year-old died of his injuries.
Saia has been remanded until a bail hearing next Tuesday.
His brother Bradley is still wanted by police, as is a 16-year-old boy.
Two other men have been arrested in the case.
