SAINT JOHN, N.B.- Communities across the country will gather on Sunday to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held in various individual towns and villages in the area but Harbour Station will be the location for the main event in the Greater Saint John area.

The public is invited to begin arriving after 9:45 Sunday morning with the ceremony getting underway at 10:40.

Meanwhile most malls and shopping centres will be closed Sunday.

NB Liquor says, with the exception of agency outlets, it’s facilities will observe Remembrance Day on Sunday with stores reopening Monday from 10AM to 6PM.
