(Saint John)-The Legion branches throughout the province  getting a bit of a boost day from the provincial government.

Premier David Alward  making  the announcement  at Legion Branch 69 that  Veterans Groups will  be eligible for help with renovation projects.

The Premier says the funds will  help with a  number of  projects at Legion Branches in the province.

“It could include needed  renovations to Legion halls to upgrade or modernize facility’s for members and their guests”

Veterans   groups  will be able to apply for  up to 50-percent of  approved  projects up to a maximum of  50-Thousand Dollars.
