SAINT JOHN, N.B. – A recently exiled MLA feels the chances are good he’ll return to the Conservative caucus.
Fundy-River Valley MLA Doctor Jim Parrott was removed from the Tory caucus in September after publicly criticizing the government for not listening to physicians.
Parrott says he’s currently working hard as an Independent. “Try and do it as well as I can. If sometime I’m back in caucus, that would be alright as will but we have to work towards those things.”
Parrott says he’s been in dialogue with Health Minister Ted Flemming and he’s looking forward to helping him in any way he can.
