ST. ANDREWS – District 1 RCMP is investigating the theft of artwork that happened over the weekend from a home in the community.
St. Andrews RCMP got a report of a break-in at a home on Parr Street in St. Andrews last night around 7:30 p.m.
They say a work of art by Herzl Kashetsky, titled “Angel,” was taken during the break-and-enter.
It’s a portrait of a woman created with text and measures 4’ X 3’.
Also taken during the break and enter were pieces of pottery and blown glass.
RCMP believe the break-in happened sometime late Saturday or early Sunday.
