SAINT JOHN – Fire investigators remain on the scene of a warehouse fire yesterday afternoon along the Westfield Road that destroyed a ServiceMaster building.
Fire crews got the call yesterday shortly after 1 p.m., and found the building fully engulfed when they arrived.
The building was being used for storage of a number of items, including a sailboat and recreational vehicles.
Investigators are going through what remains of the structure trying to determine a cause of the fire.
The blaze forced the closure of Bay Street for several hours near where it turns intoWestfield Road.
