CALGARY – Saint John Sea Dogs captain Jonathan Huberdeau has been named to the Canadian junior hockey team’s selection camp roster announced today.
Huberdeau, 19, has accumulated 15 goals and 43 points in 28 games for Saint John so far this year, his fourth in the QMJHL.
Last week, he became the team’s all-time leader in career points, surpassing former teammate Michael Kirkpatrick.
Huberdeau won a bronze with Team Canada at last year’s tournament in Alberta.
