MONCTON, N.B. – Business appears to be booming for Maritime Bus, less than a week after it began runs across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Owner Mike Cassidy says the overall feedback has been very positive.

He says he may have to consider some changes to scheduling because of time constraints in between each trip.

The service comes just in time for Christmas.

Cassidy says they have been overwhelmed with the number of people sending parcels out west or are booking tickets to travel for the holidays.

Maritime Bus began operations on Saturday, after Acadian Lines closed its doors on November 30.
