SAINT JOHN, N.B. – After being the talk of the town for years, the Saint John Police Force finally have a new home.

The police department has finally moved into their new headquarters at Peel Plaza.

Police Chief Bill Reid says there is still some unpacking to do but it’s wonderful to finally be in the new headquarters.

“Well just like anyone else moving into a new home you have to get out of your boxes and exercise the facilities. It’s wonderful.”

Reid says it will be well into January before they stop seeing boxes around and start to see some more organization.
