SAINT ANNE DE KENT, N.B. – A frightening ordeal for about 20 people on board a bus that crashed near Saint Anne de Kent near Moncton over the weekend.

The members of the North East Senior Hockey League, in Cap Pele, were headed home on highway 11 after a game, in northern New Brunswick, when the driver lost control of the coach and it rolled onto its side.

About a dozen of the players were taken to hospital to be treated for bruises and broken bones.

The president of the league says all but one have been released.

The individual is being kept in hospital for observation of a head injury but he is expected to make a full recovery.

RCMP say the roads were icy at the time of the crash.
