( Fredericton)-The Department of Health’s capital budget was released today by the Minister of Health Hugh Flemming.

The Capital Budget for health  adds up to $53.2 million in 2013-14, with investments of more than $25 million for equipment and maintenance, while $4 million will be set aside for improvements to existing infrastructure.

1-Million will be  spend  for planning and  design of a new community hospital in Perth-Andover while another Million  will be spend  for a new addition at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.
