CALGARY-The captain of the Saint John Sea Dogs has been named an alternate captain of Team Canada for the 2013 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships in Ufa,Russia.

Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was named team captain with Scott Harrington of the London Knights was also named an alternate captain.

Huberdeau was part of the 2012 Canadian team that won bronze at the 2012 tournament in Calgary.

Canada begins it’s round-robin portion of the 2013 tournament Boxing Day against Germany
