A New Brunswick cabinet minister is returning to work this week after recovering from bypass surgery.

A news release from the prime minister’s office says Fisheries Minister Keith Ashfield has made a full recovery.

National Revenue Minister Gail Shea has been filling in for the 60-year-old Fredericton-Area MP since he suffered a heart attack in October.
