SAINT JOHN, N.B. – A lump of coal from the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board this week at the gas pumps.

The E.U.B. has increased the maximum price for self serve regular by 1.7 cents per litre to $121.7 with most stations selling in the $1.18 to $1.19 range.

It’s the first increase in four weeks.

Diesel jumps by 2.1 cents per litre with furnace oil up by 1.2 cents and the price for propane dropping by 1.8 cents.
