GRAND MANAN, N.B. – Efforts to find a missing fisherman in the Bay of Fundy are being scaled back.

Crews have been searching off the shores of Grand Manan.    

The Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre in Halifax says it received a call for help around 5:40 yesterday afternoon.
   
Searchers were told a man had fallen off a fishing vessel and that he was not wearing a personal flotation device.
   
A coast guard vessel was dispatched to the scene. along with a helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft from Greenwood, Nova Scotia.
