(Saint John)-A Coast Guard employee had to be rescued from the water this morning after she fell from the wharf at the Saint John base.
Saint John Fire Platoon Chief Joe Armstrong says the woman had been pulled from the water by the time fire crews arrived on the scene.
” A female employee was stepping from the wharf onto the boat and had actually fallen between the boat and the wharf she was out of the water when fire crews arrived on scene”
Armstrong says the woman had been in the water for about two mininutes and was sent to the hospital for observation.
