FREDERICTON, N.B.- Pensions will be the focus in Fredericton over the next couple of days as the province co-hosts The National Summit on Pension Reform.
The summit opens tonight with several panel discussions to be held tomorrow.
Paul Ledwell, Executive Vice president of the Public Policy Forum, tells “McLean in the Morning” New Brunswick’s shared-risk model has drawn a lot of national attention. “Reflecting on what’s happening in New Brunswick and projecting out how we can carry this conversation and this action right across the country”, says Ledwell. “Not just in the public sector but in the private sector as well”
The summit will hear from a variety of speakers including the President of CIBC, the national President of CUPE, and the Superintendent of Pensions for the Government of New Brunswick.
