SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Scott Crawford will be remembered by family and friends at a funeral service tomorrow afternoon.

The 43-year old Moosehead Brewery employee died Friday night of injuries sustained during an altercation at AJ’s on April 1st.

Common councillor Bill Farren, who also works at the brewery, says he isn’t surprised by the outpouring of support in light of Crawford’s death.

“Scott always got around. He was well known. He was a typical Moosehead worker; he was a good prankster. He could give a joke and take a joke. That’s what made him a special individual. He just enjoyed life a lot.”

A 37-year old man will return to court on May 8th to face an aggravated assault charge in connection to the incident.

The Saint John Police Force and the Crown are currently reviewing the case file in light of the death.
