Alward warning NB'ers not to fall for "sham"
FREDERICTON - New Brunswick opposition leader, David Alward said get ready for the Graham Government's big sell-job of the NB Power Hydro-Quebec deal at the taxpayer's expense. Alward is warning New Brunswickers to watch out for the million dollar public relations campaign and to not fall for the sham including glossy ads and sugar-coating. Alward predicts the ad campaign won't work. "This is an issue that has touched literally every region of the province, every New Brunswicker," he said. David Alward says the Graham government is going to use taxpayers' money to persuade taxpayersnot to be critical of the deal. Alward said the opposition Tories will be setting up a toll free line and website in the next few days so New Brunswickers can make their thoughts known. |
