Health Minister asks for patience
SAINT JOHN - The provincial health minister has again asked the general public to respect the priority groups when it comes to H1N1 flu shots. Mary Schryer said the province is closely monitoring its current vaccine supply to make sure the right people are getting the vaccination. Schryer said there will be enough for everyone in the province but its a matter of being patient. "We have 46,000 plus another 10,000 vaccinations coming in, that will allow us to increase our numbers," she said. Schryer said the province is expected to find out later this week what the vacine shipment numbers will look like going forward. |
