More investment in healthcare training facilities
Fredericton, N.B. - With plans to invest over $19-million in healthcare training facilities in Saint John, today, Premier Shawn Graham announced the awarding of tenders totalling $2-million. The premier, along with health minister Mary Schryer, made the announcement at UNBSJ, where a new medical school will open with 30 first-year students. Also, $16 million is going into the new NBCC Saint John Allied Health Building on the UNBSJ campus. Graham says the investment sends the right message. Around 150 jobs will be created during the construction phase. |
