Fire rips through west-side residence
Saint John, N.B. - Crews are still on the scene of a stubborn structure fire that gutted a two-storey apartment building in West Saint John. Fire officials say the building is around 100 years old. Crews responded at 3 a.m. to 300 Charlotte Street West, while everybody got out of the building safely. Five engine companies and a ladder company responded to the blaze. There's still no word on a cause, we'll pass on more details as they become available. |
