Fire leaves two families homeless
Saint John, N.B. - An early morning fire has left two families homeless in west Saint John. Crews responded around 2 a.m. to 300 Charlotte Street West, and remain on the scene where the 100-year-old, two-storey building still burns. Officials say the cause was initially reported as electrical, although the investigation continues. There were no injuries, the building has been gutted. The Red Cross is helping the families find accommodations. |
